About me

Hi! I’m Margo and I’m a 26 year old gal from outside of Boston. I’m currently living in New Haven Connecticut and I’m halfway through my graduate school studies and am working towards my masters degree in Environmental Management. In undergrad I studied environmental conservation, so needless to say I’m passionate about the environment and sustainability.

I’ve been a vegetarian for 15 years and I love eating good, healthy (and of course sometimes not-so-healthy) food, running, and doing nearly anything outdoors, especially if it involves the smell of pine trees. I’m fortunate that my boyfriend is also a vegetarian and likes cooking, so we’re able to prepare and eat many meals together.

I’m starting a blog this summer (and continuing it into the fall!) to simply help myself track what I’m eating and how much I’m exercising (completely selfish interests). It’s also fun to post other things going on in my life, especially as I find myself moving further from some of the people I love, this seems like a nice way to maintain those daily updates and connections, if people want to read about what I’m up to :) So I hope you enjoy reading about my summer days of munching, moving, studying, and fun-ing through photos and blurbs!

And, peanut butter trees – because I love peanut butter and I love trees of all kinds for all that they do! Now, imagine how happy I’d be if peanut butter grew on trees :)

    • Thanks Patty! There is just so much to not only see, but eat in DC! I love it. Hmm I don’t think it’s the same person, but wouldn’t that be funny. Hope things are going well and hope to see you soon!

I love the name Peanut Butter Trees! It’s so different and interesting. Plus I’d totally love if peanut butter grew on trees. I love that stuff! :-)

I love peanut butter! Or any nut butter really. Anyways, just found your blog, seems awesome! As a response from your lastest post about getting to choose classes; you guys get to just go to different classes for 2 weeks before choosing?! That’s awesome! I’m going to be a second year in college studying nutrition at a california state school.

    • Hey there, thank you! I love all nut butters, too :) Yeah it’s pretty neat that we get to scope out classes before committing to them – it can be overwhelming but it’s helpful too. I’m always jealous of nutrition study folks, seems like such a neat topic to major in! Good luck with the start of the school year!
